Does Jean get rewards for spaces, barriers or the end of the explorer track?
No. Jean gets no reward for the space she stops on or for crossing barriers, though she can block you from them (for example she counts as the first to cross a barrier, which reduces your reward). The only exception is quests on the explorer track.
