How does "as your last village action" work, and can I use two such cards in one turn?

The designer ruled on each of these points, and the publisher confirmed that copies do not stack.

A card marked "as your last village action" can be used after other village actions in the same turn, but once you use it you lose all remaining village actions for that main action, even if its own effect would grant another. You can use it in a village, in a city that offers village actions, or in an assistant location. Only one last village action exists per turn, so two such cards (or two copies) do not stack; choose one.
