Does a copy of a spell get the same bonuses as the original?

Yes. A copy has the same characteristics as the spell it copies, so effects that boost that kind of spell, such as extra damage, apply to it as well. A copy is not a card, though, so effects that care about cards, such as a trigger on a card going to the graveyard, do not see it.
