Do I get the 3rd/4th-floor space bonus when a card effect takes a card from those floors?

Yes. The space's bonus is received when you take the card from it, even with no Family Member placed (page 6 example). Houses of Renaissance's publisher also confirmed the floor bonuses for special tokens. One reading says the bonus depends on the card's floor only, which comes to the same thing.
