How many winter tiles come up for auction, and what does "Winter introduced" in the set-up table mean?

"Winter per player" is how many face-down winter tiles each player is dealt. Each player then secretly picks one or more of them to put in the auction, so "Winter introduced" is the range of tiles that can appear: for example 2 to 6 in a two-player game. Unchosen tiles go back to the box, so the winter market can be small.
