What is the golden space at the top of my pyramid, and what does the golden token give me?
The publisher described the golden token directly, and the rulebook FAQ agrees.

The golden space is only for the Divine Will tile. The golden token is played together with a regular token and gives one extra Move or one extra Recruit action (your choice), not two recruits. It is used every Day phase (the rulebook says "turn" but means the round).
