What does the Upgrade Value Track do besides end-game scoring?
Very little. The track mainly sets the value of your Tested Designs at end-game scoring (each upgrade raises the value of that part). The one other use is the double-upgrade tile on your player board, which gives a one-time amount of PP equal to the new value.
