Turmoil, a successful Rebellion (all open orders in the region that gained independence), a successful Foreign Invasion, and an Invasion Crisis that takes a Company region, plus any Cascade those trigger. The rulebook lists no order closing for an ordinary invasion between Indian regions, and players confirm it does not close orders.
