£4 per tower level of the targeted region alone (not its whole empire) plus its loot token if faceup, so Mysore with one level and a £5 token gives £9. It comes from the bank and goes to the players, not the Company. Only the Commander and pieces used in the successful Deploy share it, not pieces used in earlier attempts or Deploys.
