A successful Deploy into a region that is not Company-controlled places its loot or control token above the President's box and creates a Governor, which makes it Company-controlled and associated with that Presidency. A Governor overlay on the map marks it, whether filled or vacant; under the Governor General the Company icon showing marks it.
