Who leads the trick when the marker is in the middle of the strength track?
The rulebook says the marker's side determines the starting player, and players confirm the middle is unreachable.

This does not happen. The marker starts at one end and always moves an even number of spaces, so it can never stop on the exact middle space. Whichever side of the board the marker is on decides the leader: Jekyll's side means Jekyll leads, Hyde's side means Hyde leads.
