Can I play It's a Wonderful World with 6 or 7 players using only the base game?
The designers said the base game supports 1 to 5 players; table workarounds exist.

Officially no: the base game is for 1 to 5 players, and 6 or 7 need the Corruption & Ascension components (the 6th and 7th Empire boards and extra cards). Some groups have played 6 or 7 by proxying an Empire card and possibly reshuffling for the last round, but that is a house variant.
