Do I get a reward or have encounters when Guild card 12 sends my Family Member back?
Several replies agree.

No. You choose a place, carry out its action with no encounters, and send your Family Member to the Police Station if you can, but you get no catch reward for doing so. It works even if your Family Member is already in the Police Station.
