Can I play a bonus card on the turn I get it, including one from the Governor or Caravansary?
Several replies agree and the rulebook sets no restriction on cards just taken.

Yes. Nothing stops you playing a card the moment you receive it, and there is no limit on the number you play in a turn, as long as the play is before or after an action and not in the middle of one. For example a 5 Lira card taken back from the Caravansary can be played again the same turn.
