Does a Discovery gained during Ship Management trigger its unload effect?
No. A Discovery gained during Ship Management, including while unloading, or outside a planet, goes straight to Gathered Discoveries without its When Unloaded effect. The effect only fires when the card is unloaded from the lander or Found Discoveries.
