Karmas are continuous, obligatory effects that apply only to the player with that Figure on top of their board, and they stop as soon as the card is covered, even mid-dogma. They are not shared by teammates or opponents. A karma never triggers another karma (including itself and other paragraphs of the same card), so they cannot loop.
