Can players talk about hidden cards or ask others not to team up?
The rulebook does not forbid table talk, and the designer's reply on teaming up agrees.

The rules do not restrict talking, bluffing or sharing what you saw in a hand; any limit is a house rule. You may bargain aloud, but you may not show or give cards. The count and types of cards in each hand are public.
