Can I choose zero clans with an 'up to' Epic Tale card such as Dagda's Cauldron, or ignore 'may' effects?
One player's close reading of the card text, which the designer agreed with; no formal ruling.

Cards that say 'up to' or 'may' (Dagda's Cauldron, Eriu, Nuada Silverhand) can be played while choosing none. Dagda's Harp says 'at most' rather than 'up to', so you place as many clans as you have cards, capped at three. This is one player's reading of the card wording, which the designer agreed with.
