By which turn must I place my Queen Bee, and does my first piece count as a turn?
The rulebook states the fourth-turn deadline and several players confirm the first piece counts as turn one.

You must place your Queen Bee by your fourth turn at the latest. Your first placement counts as turn one, so if the Queen has not appeared by then, your fourth piece has to be the Queen. The rulebook spells out the first placements separately only because they break the normal placement rules.
