They sit in the benefits box and are not cleared at end of round. They are discarded to the supply when the State provides to the same class again, and on the last turn they can no longer be collected. The State still keeps its Event benefit, but gets the 1 VP only when a class takes it. Two provided bundles from a doubled Event both stay.
