How can you permanently remove cards from your deck?

There are two ways. Spend two exchange tokens to remove a Shropshire from your hand for 1 gold, or invest in the bonus tile that removes a 2-value sheep of your colour from your hand for a Romney and 1 gold. Only cards in hand can be removed, never from the discard pile.
