Can I use additional actions (move a guest to a room, feed guests, use a Staff card) before taking a guest at the start of my turn?
The designer ruled this and the publisher's later turn sequence agrees; it overturned an older publisher reply.

Yes. Additional actions may be taken at any time on your turn, including before the optional guest step, between the guest and the die, or after the die. The only fixed order is that a guest must be taken before you take a die. An early 2015 publisher answer that said guests must come first was replaced by the designer's later ruling.
