Do ships need a path, and can they pass enemy ships, in an Advance order?
The rulebook says ships move to any void in the active system, and players agree no path is needed.

Ships need no path: they can go to any void in the active system, even a non-adjacent one, and are not blocked by units in between. They cannot move through a Warp Storm.
