If a drink type has no source on the map in a 2-player game, do I rebuild the map?
The designer said to play on without the missing drink.

No. Just play without that drink; there is no need to redraw the map so every drink is present. A drink being absent is possible in games of up to 4 players. A campaign for a product nobody can supply is legal too; that demand simply goes unserved (an Errand Boy can still fetch any drink).
