Where can the Djinns that place an extra Palace or Palm Tree on a chosen tile put it, and do I need to control the tile?
The designer corrected his ruling in 2014 to require the symbol and no control.

On any tile showing the matching Village (Palace) or Oasis (Palm Tree) symbol, anywhere on the board, and you need not control it or have ended there. The designer's earlier statement that a Palm Tree could go on a Market was reversed in favour of requiring the symbol.
