In what order should I play the base game and the two expansion campaigns?

You can play them in any order, but start with the base Chronicles of Kaan campaign and tell the app which expansions you own. Kin of the Wild is the most complex, and Clash of the Immortals is first in story chronology. Pets only appear in the Kin of the Wild campaign, and its 15-gold start belongs to that campaign, not to the base game.
