How much damage do heroes take when exiting through zones with enemies?

1 damage for every zone on the path that contains any enemies, counting the starting zone and the exit zone, regardless of how many enemies are there. Enemies standing on the exit tile cost damage even if they do not guard it, and stunned enemies still deal it because stun is removed in the Clean-Up that comes first.
