Marking the expansion as owned in the app lets you pick the Enchantress at the start of a base campaign and adds the expansion's weapons, armour, potions, items and Enchantress skills to the shops and unlock box. The story is unchanged, you do not need to open the box first (all its components fit in the core box), and the other components wait for the expansion campaign.
