When does Rugwort take his card after you play a card from the Meadow?

Rugwort acts after your card play, not in the middle of it. A Meadow card is replenished first, then Rugwort takes his card. The designer intends Rugwort's turn to come after yours is complete, one card per card you played, though the rulebook wording is vague.
