Shuffle nine of the ten non-stage Field cards face down (leaving out Swamp) and deal two sets of four to the middle and bottom rows. The leftover card returns to the box unseen. A mislabelled Standard/Expert heading in the PGC edition's draft rulebook was corrected before release.
