Which cards can Medusa return from the discard to the River Bonus area?

The newer PGC rulebook (page 18) and its player aid say only River Rare cards. The 2nd-edition rulebook (and its page 18 note) said any Rare in the discard pile, and purple cards in Pro Mode, so the newer wording replaces that. The Rare goes to the River Bonus area, not your hand, which also restores a lost River life.
