Eternal Decks
Do curses stop me from playing a card to the River or using it for a jewel?
The rulebook states this plainly.

No. A curse only blocks playing the cursed number, colour or Rare to the Field. Cursed cards can still go to the River or be used in jewel recipes, and curses never remove cards already on the Field.
