When are Planta population cubes destroyed?
The rulebook gives the end-of-Combat-Phase trigger; players agree on the detail about Planta ships remaining.

Winning or losing a fight does not by itself destroy them. The Planta weakness bites at the end of the Combat Phase: if an enemy ship is in the hex and no Planta ships remain there, all Planta cubes on it are destroyed.
