Can I use tests and exhaust abilities on cards in another Ranger's area, such as a companion?

Yes for cards in their within-reach area: anyone can take the test or use the exhaust ability, though you still suffer fatigue from cards between you and the target. You cannot use cards in another Ranger's player area, such as their equipped gear. Ownership does not change when a card sits in someone else's area.
