How do Search, Scout and Move work?
The rulebook's glossary entries define all three.
Search: find every matching card in the named deck or pile, choose one, then put unchosen cards back and shuffle. A path card goes into play and a Ranger card to your hand unless the effect says otherwise. 'Search for the next' takes the first match from the top. A search naming only the path deck does not include the discard, but a set search finds the card wherever it is. Scout: look at that many cards and rearrange them on the top or bottom; it is not drawing. Move: place the card in a different area, either along the way or within reach of a Ranger you choose if none is specified.
