When does a card marked with the Ranger symbol clear?
The rulebook's Ranger Tokens section states the clear condition and the bonus.

When every Ranger's token is on it, so in a group each Ranger must move a token there; solo, your one token is enough. Your own token never adds effort to your own tests, so in solo play it matters only for these cards. Tokens are placed or moved only when an effect tells you to, usually after a test.
