How is the path deck built at the start of a new day?
The rulebook's Game Setup step 8 gives this.

Use the terrain you were traveling on when the last day ended, then the pivotal location's set (or three random Valley cards if it is not pivotal), then any cards missions in play add. Shuffle them together. A mission accepted mid-day adds its extra path cards only at the next deck assembly.
