A Ban switches on as soon as its marker drops (or sits on the bottom step) during Spice Harvesting and applies for the following round. All Bans lift at the start of the next Harvesting phase. A marker that is paid to hold its place, or raised, does not trigger its Ban unless it was already at the bottom. This replaces the older summary wording that a Ban applies only while its marker is at the bottom.
