Dominion
Do I have to play Treasure cards, or can I buy with no Treasure in hand?
The designer confirmed playing Treasures is not required to buy, and the rulebook agrees.

No, you need not play any Treasure. You can buy with zero coins, or with only +Coin from Actions, and cards costing 0 such as Copper are still available.
