Must I play all my Treasures before buying anything?
The designer confirmed this twice, in 2011 and 2025, and it matches the rulebook's Buy phase order.

Yes. Play whichever Treasures you want to use first, then buy; once you buy a card you cannot play more Treasures that turn. You may leave Treasures unplayed and they simply do nothing, and Treasures are not used up by playing them.
