If I Moat an Attack, does the rest of the attacking card still happen?
The rulebook's card description says this directly, and forum replies agree.

Yes. Moat only makes you unaffected, as if you were not in the game for that Attack. The player of the card still gets everything else, such as Witch's +2 Cards.
