Can you play Cellar and discard zero cards?
The designer says "any number" includes zero; the rulebook doesn't address this case.

Yes. "Any number" includes zero, so you may play Cellar and discard nothing. That is normally the same as not playing it, since Cellar gives +1 Action to replace itself.
