If Possession takes control of a player who would gain a card, can you use their Trader to turn the gain into a Silver?

It depends on order. The controlling player orders the effects. If Trader resolves first, the gain becomes a Silver; if Possession resolves first, the card is gained by the controller, so the opponent's Trader can no longer replace it, though the controller's own Trader can.
