Do you lose -2 for contradicting cards if you break neither rule?

Not if you can satisfy both. A task is failed only if you actually break it, so with touch cards a single ball of the colour (or leaving the colour out) breaks neither card. If you cannot avoid breaking one, you lose 2 for it.
