No. It is out of bounds and goes to the ditch, even if it rebounds onto the board. The rulebook says discs it disturbed after the ricochet are put back as the players agree; tournament-style play usually leaves them where they stopped. A disc that only hops and lands on the board without leaving the surface is still in play.
