The producer picks the good and a matching marker from the reserve goes on the '?' square, coin side up. Only the player who played the Prefect and produced there receives the chosen bonus good; other producers get just the city's normal good. When the marker is collected it leaves the board and the next producer may choose any good again. Salt cannot be chosen, and Gavdos is otherwise an ordinary city.
