How does the Port tile that reduces the Meat required work?

It lowers the number of slaughtered animals needed by one for a single Meat contract you fulfil that turn; if the contract needs only one Meat, nothing has to be slaughtered. It applies to one contract, so Clan Buchanan cannot use it for both contracts in a turn.
