If I trash a card after playing it, do I keep its Skill, Boots and Clank?
The designer and publisher ruled that played resources stay in your pool.

Yes. Once played, a card's resources and Clank are already in effect, and trashing it afterward does not undo them. So playing a Burgle and then trashing it with Master Burglar keeps the Burgle's Skill, and a trashed Stumble still gives its Clank. You cannot trash a card from hand to avoid its Clank.
