How do Agnet's conscription tokens, Defensive Position and Inspire work?

She starts with four conscription tokens; each is spent once, when you acquire a companion, to put that card on top of your deck instead of your discard pile. Defensive Position gives 2 swords as soon as you are in a Crystal Cave at any point that turn. Inspire applies only to a companion you played this turn.
