How many cat and button tokens can you earn in one turn?
The designer confirmed three is the maximum; the rulebook only describes tokens being taken after placing a tile.

Up to three: one cat token, one regular button and the rainbow button. You place only one tile per turn, so two cats or two regular buttons in one turn is not possible.
